Chicago White Sox manager Will Venable expressed complete confidence in his club after Wednesday’s 9-3 loss to the Cleveland Guardians in ALDS Game 3 at Rate Field.

The defeat ended the White Sox’s four-game postseason winning streak and denied them a chance to clinch their first ALCS berth since 2005 in front of a sellout crowd. Chicago leads the best-of-five series 2-1 with Game 4 set for Thursday.

MLB Network took to X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday with a clip of the first-year manager addressing how his team plans to respond after the loss.

“Yeah, yeah. I mean, 100% confidence. We've done it all year. Been in tough spots where we haven't played our best games. We played good games. Whatever the result, these guys come back the next day. It's really kind of been the the story of our group and being able to bounce back, no matter what happens.”
