The Golden State Warriors have been rolling of late, winners of five straight games after Monday night's thrilling home victory over the Phoenix Suns. The Warriors have been doing it all without Kristaps Porzingis, who remains sidelined with yet another mysterious health issue.

Some have floated the idea of the Warriors trying to find a trade partner for Porzingis as the season continues, but one option that Golden State is not planning to consider is voiding Porzingis' contract altogether, per Danny Emerman of the San Francisco Standard, via NBABase on X, formerly Twitter.

Voiding his contract would be a very rare move for the team that would bring along a host of other salary cap-related issues, so it makes since that the team is viewing that strictly as the nuclear option at this point.

Porzingis has been dealing with mysterious health issues dating back to the end of his days with the Boston Celtics. Golden State acquired him last year in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga from the Atlanta Hawks at the trade deadline, and although he continued to miss significant time after joining the Dubs, he did show flashes of an intriguing partnership with Draymond Green and Stephen Curry.

However, at this point, it doesn't seem that the Warriors are factoring him into their long-term plans, even if they don't plan on voiding his contract.

Meanwhile, the team has been finding success despite his absence, having won five straight games, most of them against playoff teams from a year ago. Curry is continuing to give Father Time a run for his money, and Yaxel Lendeborg is looking like a potential Rookie of the Year candidate.

The Warriors will next hit the floor on Thursday vs the Miami Heat.
