Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green has no remorse over his ejection in a win against the Phoenix Suns, as he doubled down on his role as the team's enforcer after Thursday's 120-100 win against the Miami Heat. Green clapped back at ESPN's Kendrick Perkins for his recent criticism, and then defended himself finishing with 11 assists, five rebounds, one block, and one steal in the Warriors' blowout win against the Heat.

As an undersized center, Green says he uses his aggressiveness to his advantage against bigger opponents, per 95.7 The Game.

“I’m 6’6. I play center. I'm usually outweighed by anywhere from 22 to 60 pounds,” Green said. “I’m usually outsized from a height perspective, anywhere from 5 to Wemby. In order to do what I do, you have to have that certain nastiness to you. You’ve heard of people having short man complex [Napoleon]? I got a little bit of that when I’m playing basketball because I’m always smaller than the guys I’m going up against. The OG that I came up under, there were just certain rules that you taught.

“If you see Kevon Looney fall on the floor, I guarantee you he's going to grab whoever it is and throw them down, because you pass that knowledge on. I have to have that tenacity. There's certain things you cannot allow to happen, because if you allow them to happen, the next game you play, it's going to happen again.”
