The Golden State Warriors are less than a month away from kicking off their 2026-27 season with essentially the same exact roster that won 37 games a year ago. While fans have been disappointed in the Warriors' lack of moves, power forward Draymond Green has been staying engaged, firing off hot takes frequently on his “The Draymond Green Show” podcast.

That trend continued recently when Green weighed in on Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro recreating TJ Ford's iconic 2002 photoshoot with the team.

“I must say I thought this was the corniest thing ever. I ain’t really trying to s**t on nobody but I thought it was super corny,” said Green, per Heat Central on X, formerly Twitter.

Green wasn't the only observer with a similar opinion of the stunt. Herro has been known to induce a cringe or two throughout his career, and that doesn't appear to be stopping now that he has been traded from the Miami Heat to the Bucks as part of the package for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Warriors were hoping that they might be able to acquire Antetokounmpo this offseason, but instead, the team will be running it back with essentially the same team as a year ago, with Green, Kristaps Porzingis, and most recently Stephen Curry all signing new contracts with the team this offseason.

While Golden State can hope for better health and an eventual return from Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody, fans shouldn't expect many highlights from the team this year besides those coming from Green's podcast.

The Warriors' season is slated to get underway on October 21 on the road vs the Los Angeles Lakers.
