Last year, in Aug. 2025, UFC veteran Rampage Jackson's son Raja Jackson got involved in a violent encounter at an indie wrestling show with Syko Stu. According to PWInsider, Jackson has now been released from jail after serving a 90-day sentence for committing battery at the show last year.
The 26-year-old Jackson was booked in the LA County jail in Jul. 2026, as part of his sentence. It included a payment of $81,000 in restitution following his plea of no contest to a felony battery charge.
Last year, Jackson attacked wrestler Stuart Smith, aka Syko Stu, at a Knokx Pro Wrestling show, which was live-streamed on Kick. Before the show, Jackson and Stu had an incident where Stu hit Jackson with a beer, mistaking him for a wrestler. After the exchange, tension cooled down, and the duo agreed to work together on a spot during the show.
However, during the show, Jackson continued to live-stream, entered the ring, slammed Stu down, and proceeded to hit him with over twenty punches, resulting in the wrestler being hospitalized.
The aftermath of the brawl left Smith with a traumatic brain injury and a shattered maxilla; he also required a bone graft procedure. However, when appearing in court, Smith said he held no ill will toward Jackson. “People can make terrible decisions in difficult moments,” Smith said during his court appearance.
Jackson is the son of ex-MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Raja participated in four amateur bouts before making his professional debut in August 2023, where he lost by unanimous decision at a United Fight League event. He has not fought again.
