Ole Miss football cruised to a 45-15 win over Auburn on Saturday. While Ole Miss entered the game No. 12 overall, this season has seen no shortage of upsets. Auburn seemed like a potential upset candidate, but the Rebels had no trouble with the Tigers. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss led the way with 263 yards and two touchdowns on 22-34 passing. Chambliss added 65 rushing yards and one touchdown on the ground.

It was a big bounce back win for Ole Miss following their loss to Texas. Although that was a difficult game for the QB and Ole Miss, Chambliss has still cemented himself as a future star. Chambliss reminded the college football world of how good he can be when he's on top of his game on Saturday.

So, what helped Chambliss have his big performance? He made it clear after the game that using his dual-threat ability as a QB is something he wants to continue to implement.

“I came here as a dual-threat quarterback, and I still am a dual-threat quarterback,” Chambliss told reporters, via Sam Hutchens of the Clarion Ledger.

Chambliss kept the defense on its toes by mixing in both passing and rushing throughout the game. He's certainly good at finding the open receiver, but adding more balance to his game could be what unlocks his Heisman potential.

Ole Miss football now has momentum following the big win. They will look to utilize that momentum in an especially challenging matchup next week against Georgia. Kickoff for the Georgia-Ole Miss game is scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at 7:30 PM ET.
