Travis Kelce is proud of Taylor Swift's influence on football.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared how much he's learned from fans about how his wife has impacted the Kansas City Chiefs fan base. On the Oct. 21 episode of New Heights, a fan asked, “How many Chiefs fans have been added because of Taylor?”

“I will say this. I have a lot more people coming up to me expressing their stories of them and their daughters having a moment of watching football together,” Travis said to co-host Jason Kelce. “And that has been undoubtedly the majority of people that come up to me that talk football, just off the street.”

Travis added: “I get a lot of thanks for that, which is just pretty cool. I didn't have that one on the card when I started dating Tay, let alone asked her to marry me. But it's been pretty cool to see the influx of Chiefs fans.”

Swift's impact on the Chiefs has been documented more than just social media reposts. Between September 2023 and January 2025, Forbes reported that Swift's popularity has “generated nearly $1 billion in overall equivalent brand value through her connection with the Chiefs and NFL.”

The popstar began dating Travis in 2023 and three years later the couple said “I do” at Madison Square Garden. The tight shared on ESPN's “Monday Night Countdown” last month how much the wedding meant to him calling it “the best night of my life. Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up, and the amount of, you know, love that was in the air.”

The “Love Story” singer has yet to share her perspective on the wedding but has showed her continued her support of Travis by attending games and cheering him on. She has so far attended three games this season with the most recent being on the Los Angeles Chargers matchup on Oct. 18.

The next Chiefs game will be on road to face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 25.
