Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn's seat didn't get any colder after dropping another NFC East game and, in the process, losing starting quarterback Jayden Daniels to injury. Nonetheless, he has been usurped as the coach with the hottest seat in the NFL.
Following Week 2, Quinn is no longer the odds-on favorite to be the first coach to be fired this season. That distinction now belongs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Todd Bowles, who entered the week at No. 2 with +350 odds and has leapfrogged Quinn in the aftermath of the Bucs' loss to the Cleveland Browns.
According to BetOnline.ag, Bowles' odds to be the first NFL head coach fired during the 2026 season are now +110, while Quinn sits in second at +300. Last week, Quinn was at +150.
Also on the list is the Indianapolis Colts' Shane Steichen (+600), the Green Bay Packers' Matt LaFleur (+900), the Los Angeles Chargers' Jim Harbaugh (+1000), the New York Jets' Aaron Glenn (+1000), the Houston Texans' DeMeco Ryans (+1200), the Detroit Lions' Dan Campbell (+2500), and the New England Patriots' Mike Vrabel (+2800).

However, Watson had one of his best games in years against Tampa Bay; he completed 24 of his 30 passes for 238 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in Cleveland's 23-19 win.
After back-to-back losses to AFC North opponents, the Buccaneers will welcome back-to-back NFC North opponents to Tampa. First, the Bucs host the 2-0 Minnesota Vikings before facing the Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile, Quinn and the Commanders, who lost to the Dallas Cowboys a week after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles, play the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks this weekend.
