The Titans fell behind the Colts 13-0 in the first half of last Sunday’s game against the Colts, but they were able to rally for their first win of the season.
One of the biggest plays in that comeback effort was made by running back Julius Chestnut. Chestnut blocked a Rigoberto Sanchez punt with just over 10 minutes to play in the game and defensive end Femi Oladejo recovered it for a touchdown that gave Tennessee its first lead of the day. The Titans would go on to win 26-20.
Chestnut’s big play led to him being named the AFC special teams player of the week on Wednesday.
Chestnut is in his fifth season with the Titans and he has played exclusively on special teams so far this year. The Titans were very happy to have him in that role in Week 6.
