The Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves will each enter Wednesday night's matchup with several injury concerns, including questionable designations for Clint Capela and Terrence Shannon Jr.
Houston's latest injury report lists Capela as questionable because of a right ankle sprain ahead of the 8:30 p.m. ET contest at Toyota Center. The Rockets will already be without Steven Adams, who remains sidelined with a right soleus strain.
Two-way players Quadir Copeland and Julian Phillips are also unavailable because of their G League assignments.
Capela's status takes on added importance with Adams unavailable. The veteran center provides Houston with another interior presence behind Alperen Sengun and has given head coach Ime Udoka additional size and rebounding options throughout the frontcourt.
Minnesota, meanwhile, has several notable absences of its own.
Anthony Edwards remains out following right knee arthroscopy, while Donte DiVincenzo is sidelined as he recovers from right Achilles tendon repair surgery. Shannon is questionable because of a left hip contusion.
The Timberwolves' potential absence of Shannon would take another rotation option away from a team already playing without two important perimeter contributors in Edwards and DiVincenzo.

Minnesota also enters the matchup coming off a victory. The Timberwolves improved to 5-3 after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 112-100 on Monday night.
