Connelly stays up to date on the league, but he doesn't bog himself down with social media chatter. In a feature on The Athletic, he says he peruses HoopsHype for the latest intel on the NBA.

Krawczynski also spoke to Joe Connelly, who is the brother of Tim and the Timberwolves' vice president of player personnel. He confirms that Tim isn't concerned about the chatter.

Connelly looks to see his new-look Minnesota Timberwolves team thrive in the new season with several new faces, including NBA All-Star-caliber guard Lamelo Ball. The team starts the season against another new-look team, the Miami Heat, featuring newly acquired star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
