On Monday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers moved to 7-1 on the 2026-27 NBA season with a home win over the Chicago Bulls. While this wasn't the most dominant performance of the season against the lowly Bulls, the 76ers still did enough to pull away late and secure the victory.
At one point, 76ers star LeBron James went viral when he pretended to drink a fan's wine courtside, and now, another angle has been unearthed of the viral encounter.
This isn't the first time that James has pretended to sip alcohol courtside, as he had a similar viral moment during a home game against the Toronto Raptors in the 2017 playoffs, back when he was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While James isn't quite the same player now that he was in those days, he has still proven to be a great addition for the 76ers this year, using his combination of size, basketball IQ, and occasional transition burst to unlock new layers to the 76ers' offensive attack, while also taking a step up on the defensive end compared to what fans saw of him on the Los Angeles Lakers over the last couple of years.
Thus far, the major concerns about shooting, defense, and health haven't been big issues for the 76ers, and they've been getting it done against some stiff competition, Monday's game vs the lowly Bulls aside.
James is surely keeping up his regular habit of sipping wine when not on the court in order to maintain his elite play.
In any case, the 76ers will next hit the court on Wednesday on the road vs the Detroit Pistons, the only team to have beaten them this year.
