The Baltimore Ravens suffered a monumental collapse against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. After going up 13-0, the Ravens gave up 35 unanswered points in the second half to go down to 4-3 on the season. It's the second such collapse the Ravens have suffered in as many games. They had a similar meltdown in a 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Amid another demoralizing defeat, Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith wants the team to find the consistency in their performances.
“It's about chasing that consistency and finding that missing piece to where that consistency that we're chasing, there's something in there that's missing. But it's obviously there a lot, but it's not there all the time. So there's finding that, and chasing that, play in and play out, quarter in and quarter out, regardless of the circumstances, and being detached from the result,” Smith said.
Despite missing starting quarterback Lamar Jackson once again, the Ravens have been playing quite well to start games with Tyler Huntley. However, for some reason, they are unable to carry that over to the second half, which has led to their collapses.

But the entire team, including Smith and the defense, needs to take accountability for these collapses. There needs to be more consistency with how they play in order to avoid experiencing more meltdowns.
The Ravens will be keen to avoid a third straight defeat when they pay a visit to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills next week.
