The Houston Texans started the 2026 season behind the eight ball. Houston lost a close game in Week 1 against Buffalo, putting them under pressure to get in the win column this weekend. Unfortunately, there's a chance that Houston is without one of their best offensive weapons.

Texans wide receiver Nico Collins injured his hamstring during Wednesday's practice, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Collins has already met with doctors, who say they “don't believe it's serious.” However, Schefter noted that Collins' status for Houston's Week 2 matchup against Cincinnati remains in jeopardy.

Collins was limited during Wednesday's practice because of that hamstring injury. He logged seven receptions for 75 receiving yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
