The Texans made a change to their defensive line group on Wednesday.
They announced that they have placed Mario Edwards on injured reserve. Edwards tore his ACL last Sunday and will miss the rest of the 2026 season.
Edwards had six tackles and a sack in the first three games. He had 44 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 27 games for Houston over the last two seasons.
The Texans signed defensive end Chris Braswell off of their practice squad in a corresponding move. He had 48 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble in 34 games for the Buccaneers over the last two seasons.
