Nico Collins has missed the last two games, with the Houston Texans star wide receiver sidelined by a hamstring injury. However, he appears to be on the verge of returning to action after participating in limited fashion in practice on Wednesday and again on Thursday.
“I'm excited to be back, man,” Collins shared, via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. “This is the game we always pray for and want to be a part of. It's always hard to miss games. Stuff be unfortunate sometimes, gotta take it on the chin like a man and keep stepping. I'm glad I'm back on that field now.”
Collins now turns his attention to helping Houston's offense, as the team continues to find their way into the win column.
“You pray for moments like this; you grind for moments like this. So, I feel like it's something we always wanted, something I always wanted. I always wanted to go be that guy, and that's the mindset you gotta have in this league,” added the two-time Pro Bowler wideout.

I wanna be the guy people can depend on.”
Houston is hoping Collins' body will finally be able to give it a go in time for Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, whose pass defense looks vulnerable due to injuries.
The Texans are 0-3 after three weeks and are coming off a 19-17 road loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.
Collins played in Week 1's 36-31 Houston loss at home before missing Week 2's meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals and the date with Indianapolis.
