The Steelers only held a walkthrough on Monday, but they said that a regular practice session would have resulted in a change of status for cornerback Joey Porter Jr.
Porter was listed as a full participant on the team’s first injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against the Browns. Porter is on the injury report for conditioning after recovering from a back injury and this is the first time he has been listed as more than limited on the team’s injury report. He has not appeared in any games yet this year.
Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey (wrist) and Brandin Echols (concussion) would have been limited participants on Monday. Head coach Mike McCarthy said it is too early to tell if Ramsey is at risk of missing Thursday’s game.
Running back Rico Dowdle (toe) was listed as out of practice.
