Stephon Castle appears to have fallen in love with the City of Light. The San Antonio Spurs guard recently admitted that one of his favorite parts of the NBA offseason thus far was his trip to Paris.

“Favorite part of my summer so far? Probably that trip to Paris,” Castle said in a video shared by the NBA on X (formerly Twitter).

“I would. I would say so, Castle added when asked if he “would heart Paris.”:

The former UConn Huskies guard also shared a little background story about his “I heart Paris” shirt that he was spotted wearing while strolling the city with Spurs teammate Carter Bryant.

“Oh my gosh, that's a long story. Well, me and CB [Carter Bryant] were going out just touring, you know, just bored. It got a little hot out there, so I had to stop and buy me a little shirt, Castle said.

Castle can perhaps learn more about La Ville Lumière by simply picking the brain of one of France's most famous imports, who also happens to be his teammate with the Spurs, big man Victor Wembanyama.

Castle will see more of the city in the near future, as the Spurs are scheduled to play two games in Paris in the 2026-27 NBA regular season. The reigning Western Conference champions will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Jan. 14 and 17.

It will not be the first time that the Spurs will bring their act to France, as they played a couple of games there against the Indiana Pacers in January 2025.
