The South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer had a little something to say after his team escaped with a hard-fought victory over the Texas A&M Aggies. The Gamecocks secured a 17-9 win at Williams-Brice Stadium, extending their winning streak to four games and becoming bowl eligible. Beamer later took a playful shot at Texas A&M after its players celebrated too early.

The coach posted, “Someone let me know how it ends ….. 🤙🏻 Have a safe flight back to Texas.” His playful jab drew mixed reactions, with one fan criticizing the decision, writing, “This is beneath a head coach. The Aggies actually outgained South Carolina but struggled to turn their offensive production into points. Texas A&M missed a field goal in the third quarter that could have given it the lead, allowing the Gamecocks to stay within striking distance before taking control in the final quarter.
Quarterback LaNorris Sellers played a major role in the Gamecocks' comeback. Despite suffering an ankle injury that required X-rays before halftime, he returned to throw for 251 yards and a touchdown. He then delivered the decisive blow with a 41-yard rushing touchdown in the final two minutes.
The victory marked another important step in South Carolina's turnaround after opening SEC play with three consecutive losses. The Gamecocks improved to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in conference play, while Texas A&M dropped to 4-5.
Beamer's postgame message added another layer to an already memorable night in Columbia.
