The Giants and Eagles lost key players to injuries on the same play in the third quarter of Sunday’s game in Philadelphia.
Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy went to the locker room after taking a hit from Eagles linebacker Zack Baun at the end of a short run. The Giants call him questionable to return due to a hip injury.
Baun also had to leave the game and the Eagles say he is questionable due to a back injury. Baun had two sacks in the first half of Sunday’s game.
Jameis Winston has replaced McCarthy for the Giants. They do not have a third quarterback available should anything happen to Winston before time expires in the fourth quarter.
