The Seattle Seahawks are still hurting from the beatdown they received from Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on Monday at Lumen Field in Seattle, and the same can be said about some of the reigning Super Bowl champions' players.

The Seahawks have injuries to deal with following that game, perhaps none more notable than defensive tackle Leonard Williams. The three-time Pro Bowler appeared to sustain an injury in the third quarter. He left the game and was initially labeled questionable to return, but did not see action the rest of the way, as he watched the Seahawks get dismantled by the visiting Bears.

On Tuesday, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald provided seemingly positive updates not just on Williams but on the others.

“Nothing definitive this early in the week, but Mike Macdonald said on [Seattle Sports] that Leonard Williams, who left Monday's game with a stinger, as well as Charles Cross, Uchenna Nwosu and Rashid Shaheed, ‘have a chance to come back this week, so we’ll see,'” John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site shared via a social media update on X, formerly Twitter.

Williams left the Bears game with three total tackles (two solo) to go along with a quarterback hit, as the Seahawks struggled to contain Chicago's attack.

The Seahawks would want to be at full strength — or at least as close to it as possible — when they resume action for a Week 9 matchup against a re-energized Arizona Cardinals, who are coming off a stunning victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
