The Seattle Seahawks recently got back into the win column with a dominant home win over the Kansas City Chiefs in primetime on Sunday evening. Now, the team has made a big move on the trade market to help bolster its offensive line moving forward.
“Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and (Ian Rapoport). Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks,” reported NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.
Nelson has been a stalwart for the Colts for nearly a decade. However, Indianapolis has gotten off to a disastrous start to this season at 2-5, having most recently lost to the Minnesota Vikings on the road, and opening the door for a team to make a potential fire sale ahead of this year's trade deadline as they enter what could be a full-on rebuild.

In any case, up next for the Seahawks is a home game against the Chicago Bears next Monday evening.
