The Seattle Seahawks have a Week 8 game scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2 against the Chicago Bears, which could mark the return of running back Jadarian Price, who was joined on the injury report by another well known player. Price is working through some issues in practice and hoping to get back to run behind newly acquired lineman Quenton Nelson, who was acquired from Indianapolis via trade.

Seahawks reporter John Boyle shared the news on Friday that Price was a full participant in practice, one day after he was limited in Thursday's practice with a chest injury.

Price hails from Denison, Texas and started off his rookie season strong with two 50-plus yard rushing efforts, against the Patriots and Cardinals. He had just 15 yards against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 15 before suffering his injury and has not played since.

Nelson and the Seahawks will battle a familiar face, new Bears trade addition Jeffrey Simmons, in Week 8's game after the Bears acquired Nelson's former AFC South nemesis. Price has the skills to have a big game, but will need to be healthy, and to understand his new teammate's tendencies, as he gets ready to face one of the NFL's best teams.

Price was expected to be counted on as the Seahawks' starter this season, and has flashed the type of talent that made him one of college football's best running backs with Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame Fighting Irish, alongside Jeremiyah Love. Coach Mike Macdonald's team has a chance to rev up its running game behind Price's hard-nosed running, but he has to be healthy first for the plan to work as expected.
