The No. 17 Florida Gators could be without one of their leading offensive weapons again when they face the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday as sophomore wide receiver Vernell Brown III was downgraded to questionable on Friday's SEC availability report.

Brown had been listed as probable on Wednesday and Thursday, raising hopes that he would return after missing Florida's last three games with a knee injury. The Gators have been without Brown since he suffered the injury during the first half of their September 26 win over Ole Miss. His absence has coincided with a decline in Florida's offensive production. During the team's 4-0 opening stretch, Brown recorded 17 receptions for 271 yards and four touchdowns, including two scores on punt returns.

The Gators scored 96 points across their SEC victories over Auburn and the Rebels but has managed just 63 points while going 1-2 in the three games without him.

Brown is not the only Florida receiver whose availability remains uncertain. Fellow without Bailey Stockton was upgraded from doubtful to questionable after appearing on the injury report with a left ankle issue. Stockton has participated in all seven games this season, amassing 27 receptions for 289 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, things appear to be trending in a positive direction for the Gators at quarterback. Aaron Philo and Tramell Jones Jr. were both upgraded from questionable to probable on Friday. Philo is expected to start after missing last week's 27-24 win over Texas because of a right shoulder injury. Jones filled in during that upset, helping Florida overcome the Longhorns despite taking considerable amount of contact.

Gators running back Duke Clark and linebacker Jaden Robinson will miss Saturday's contest. Clark, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown against Ole Miss, has been unavailable due to a left ankle injury sustained versus South Carolina on October 10. Robinson's absence creates additional opportunities for sophomore linebacker Ty Jackson, who finished with two tackles for loss in 14 snaps against Texas.

Florida will meet Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. A final availability report will be released 90 minutes before kickoff.
