The New Orleans Saints got embarrassed in front of a national audience in Week 4. New Orleans got crushed 45-24 by Atlanta on Monday Night Football. Will one lingering injury from that game carry over into Week 5?

Saints quarterback Tyler Shough shrugged off concerns about his left hand injury ahead of Week 5. He was seen wearing a wrap on his left hand against the Falcons.

Shough said his left hand got banged up during Monday's game against the Falcons, per ESPN's Katherine Terrell. However, Shough said it was “nothing different than anyone else.” He admitted that he was still score on Wednesday, but the injury is not going to limit him throughout the rest of the week.

Still, it is worth noting that the second year quarterback was a limited participant at practice on Wednesday.

Shough has played quite well during his first full season as the team's starting quarterback. He has 1,203 passing yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions through just four games. Hopefully this hand injury does not throw him off his game in Week 5.

Unfortunately, Shough is far from the only Saints player dealing with injuries at this point in the season.

Both Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave did not practice on Wednesday. Olave simply got a veteran rest day and is reportedly completely healthy. However, Kamara is on the injury report with a back issue. That is quite concerning to see, especially with Travis Etienne Jr. already on injured reserve. If Kamara is unable to play in Week 5, New Orleans will have to turn to Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson at running back.

In other Saints injury news, Barion Brown (thigh), Kaden Elliss (calf), and Anfernee Jennings (knee) also did not practice on Wednesday.

Fans should keep their eyes on the injury report over the next few days. New Orleans will need all hands on deck this weekend as they face off against an undefeated opponent.

Saints vs. Vikings kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 11 from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
