Ryan Day has coached many talented players throughout his ongoing stint with the Ohio State Buckeyes so far. However, he views wide receiver Jeremiah Smith to be a cut above the rest.
Day is going through the ninth season of his head coaching career at Ohio State. He stands out as one of the best in the country, leading the program to the national championship in 2024.
Day pulled this off by developing remarkable talents on both sides of the ball. Offense was no exception as he excelled at the receiver position.
Smith looks to be a continuation of that cycle. The star receiver has garnered national recognition as he looks to have NFL aspirations. He recently made five catches for 85 yards in Ohio State's 59-3 win over Kent State, getting praise from Day after the game.
