Baltimore Ravens star wide receiver Zay Flowers is doubtful for the team's Week 2 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS as he continues dealing with a hamstring injury.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Flowers' game status Friday afternoon via X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Ravens WR Zay Flowers is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints.”

The designation comes despite Flowers returning to practice Friday after missing Baltimore's first two practices of the week. The 25-year-old suffered the hamstring injury during the Ravens' 41-23 Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and did not return after halftime. Baltimore had previously described Flowers as day to day.

Flowers was one of Baltimore's biggest offensive weapons before leaving the season opener. He caught five of six targets for 150 yards and a touchdown in the first half, including a 54-yard score.

The Ravens are already dealing with another significant injury at wide receiver. Rookie Ja'Kobi Lane was placed on injured reserve Wednesday because of a wrist injury, leaving Baltimore potentially without two receivers against New Orleans.

Flowers also dealt with a hamstring injury during training camp that sidelined him for approximately two weeks, making his latest issue something Baltimore will continue to monitor.

Baltimore enters its home opener at 1-0 following the victory over Indianapolis, while New Orleans enters Week 2 at 0-1.
