It was a trip that made Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson happy. And the endgame turned out well. However, offensive lineman Vega Ioane has switched positions after two more Ravens centers suffered serious injuries, according to a post on X by Jamison Hensley.
“Ravens coach Jesse Minter said it looks like it will be long-term injuries to starting center Jovaughn Gwyn (ankle) and backup center Ethan Pocic (knee). Minter said rookie first-round pick Vega Ioane will prepare to play center, but mentioned the team could possibly add a center as well.”
The Ravens managed to get through the injuries for a dramatic 34-31 win over the Cowboys in the NFL’s first venture into Brazil for a game.
