The Baltimore Ravens are currently gearing up for their upcoming game vs the Buffalo Bills on the road, with quarterback Lamar Jackson expected to be back in the lineup after missing three games due to an ankle injury. The Ravens have also dealt with other injury concerns of late, with rookie offensive lineman Vega Ioane going down in last week's home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, on Thursday, the team got a positive update on his status from practice.
“People that have been around him big-time rave about the toughness of #Ravens first-round rookie offensive lineman Vega Ioane. This will add to it. There was initially concern he could miss a few weeks due to the sprained knee but he’s pushing hard to try to get back as soon as Sunday vs. the Bills or next Thursday against Jacksonville, sources tell (CBS Sports,” reported Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports on X, formerly Twitter.
It certainly speaks volumes about the grit that Ioane has that he missed just one practice with the MCL sprain and could theoretically not even miss a single game due to the injury.
Ioane has played a big role on the Ravens' offensive line, which recently received a boost with their trade for center Cam Jurgens of the Philadelphia Eagles, replacing Tyler Linderbaum, who departed for the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency this past offseason.

In any case, kickoff vs the Bills is slated for Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm ET from Buffalo.
