The Los Angeles Rams watched Matthew Stafford hit new NFL history against the Las Vegas Raiders. Yet the new all-time passing yardage leader in Rams history shined a light elsewhere. More so dropping an eye-opening claim for his running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.
Stafford has played with lots of great playmakers especially in the backfield. But he shared this bold take with The Pat McAfee Show on Monday.
“I haven't had a tandem like Kyren Williams and Blake Corum where they both can do everything,” Stafford said. “You usually have one big guy, one small guy, or a big slow guy who can run people over and a small, fast guy who can run around people. This is a unique instance where you can call your entire offense around those guys.”

Stafford even joked he can't tell who is who sometimes, because “they look so much alike.”

The run game came into fruition at Allegiant Stadium against the Silver and Black, spearheading the 35-21 romp. Los Angeles turned to both backs to help tally 199 rushing yards on the Raiders' defense.
Williams came within one yard of hitting 100 yards and scored once on a 17-yard scamper. The past Michigan national title winner Corum added 93 yards on 17 carries and also scored, with his touchdown coming from four yards with 6:34 to go.
