Coach Sean McVay's Los Angeles Rams are 2-4 and in danger of falling out of playoff contention heading into Week 7 after injures have ravaged them, including one to Davante Adams. Kicker Blake Grupe hit a 44-yard field goal in the Rams' loss to the Cardinals but tore the ACL on his right knee, making him another tragic figure in a tough start to the season.

Grupe sent a message to the Rams faithful on Monday, giving fans plenty to think about as the team worked out two well known veteran kickers including Matt Prater.

“Not at all how I envisioned my time in LA. The energy and excitement I felt going into this game was incredible. I couldn't wait to step on that field and show what I could do. No choice other than to attack rehab and come back stronger and more prepared than ever,” Grupe wrote with blue and yellow heart emojis.

“I will continue to trust and follow His plan. Thank you to everyone that's reached out,” Grupe added.

October 25 will bring a game against the Raiders in Las Vegas that will give Matthew Stafford, McVay, Puka Nacua and the Rams a huge opportunity to regroup. If Los Angeles can bring home a win, it will go a long way toward erasing the tough feeling of losing Adams and Grupe, headed toward the midway point of the season.
