The Las Vegas Raiders feasted on In-N-Out hamburgers thanks to quarterback Kirk Cousins. But the franchise made a roster change three days after celebrating the tasty win over the New York Jets. With this move involving former Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cody White.

Vegas made the decision to release White Wednesday. Which allows him to re-enter NFL free agency.

The sixth-year veteran ends his tenure with the Raiders catching eight passes for 112 yards and scoring three times. He's best known for grabbing two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 20, which represented his only catches of the 26-14 win.

He eventually caught one more touchdown against the New Orleans Saints the following week. But he hasn't scored in the last five weeks. White also hasn't grabbed more than two receptions in a single game this season.

The ex-Michigan State wideout began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers following the 2020 NFL Draft. But White went undrafted and eventually landed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He later made his rounds with the Denver Broncos and New York Giants.

Yet he earned his most action with Pittsburgh and the Seahawks. He even won a Super Bowl ring with the latter in 2025, which came with Klint Kubiak as offensive coordinator. White landed in Vegas after with familiarity of Kubiak's offensive system.

The Raiders sit at 4-4 overall and now have a huge showdown with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. So Vegas can certainly shake up the NFL landscape by stunning one of the NFC's best teams at Levi's Stadium.
