The Las Vegas Raiders made two roster moves Saturday as they prepare to potentially play without star tight end Brock Bowers in their Week 2 road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Las Vegas elevated tight end Chris Myarick and wide receiver Cody White from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via X, formerly known as Twitter.

“With TE Brock Bowers doubtful for Sunday, the Raiders have elevated TE Chris Myarick and WR Cody White from their practice squad,” Schefter wrote.

The moves provide Las Vegas with additional depth on offense as Bowers deals with an injury that has put his availability for Week 2 in serious doubt.

Myarick gives the Raiders another option at tight end alongside Michael Mayer, who recently agreed to a three-year, $45 million contract extension with $30 million guaranteed. Bowers' potential absence could result in an expanded role once again for Mayer against Los Angeles.

White, meanwhile, adds another option to the Raiders' receiving corps as the team looks to remain unbeaten.

Las Vegas enters Week 2 with a 1-0 record after defeating the Miami Dolphins 27-13 at Allegiant Stadium in its season opener last Sunday.

The Chargers are searching for their first victory after opening the season 0-1.

The AFC West rivals will meet Sunday at 1:05 p.m. PT on CBS, with Bowers officially listed as doubtful for the matchup.
