New Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi recently suffered an injury. On Saturday, NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints shared an update on Missi's injury.
“Pelicans center Yves Missi has been diagnosed with a left knee bone bruise and will miss a period of time. There is no timeframe yet for his eventual return,” Siegel reported.
Missi had a strong start to the season before suffering the left knee bone bruise. He averaged 9.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per outing through the first two games of the new campaign. Missi has shot 88.9 percent from the field as well.
While the Pelicans have questions and are just 0-2 overall so far, Missi has been a bright spot for the team. Now he is expected to miss time. As Siegel reported, it remains to be seen when he will return. Updates on Yves Missi's injury status will continue to be monitored and provided as they are made available.

The Pelicans dropped another close contest on the road in Utah on Friday night, losing 120-119. Defeats are unfortunate regardless of the score, but New Orleans is clearly staying in games. The Pelicans just need to find a way to get the job done in the fourth quarter.
They will look to earn their first victory of the 2026-27 NBA season on Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets on the road. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 PM ET in what should be another competitive matchup.
