It sounds like Paul McCartney played The Beatles song “I Want to Hold Your Hand” at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, as the former Fab Four member confirmed it while forgetting the NFL tight end's name.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, McCartney was asked about Swift and Kelce's wedding. The Beatles icon revealed that the “Cruel Summer” singer asked him to perform “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” This marked the first performance of the song by a member of The Beatles since the '60s. He suggested she sing along while on stage with him.

“She was on stage. I said, ‘You should sing along, and you should sing it to…'” he recalled before stammering. He couldn't remember Kelce's name, calling him her “man.”

Since there were no phones allowed, there is no public record of McCartney's performance. It was rumored that he played “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” but now he has confirmed it.

Whether or not he played any other songs was not disclosed. However, getting him to play the iconic Beatles song is enough of a treat.

Swift and Kelce's wedding took place on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. The World's Most Famous Arena was home to the wedding of the summer.
