LSU tight end Trey'Dez Green's name surfaced on the SEC availability report Friday for the first time this week, as he was listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against Alabama. His late addition raises concerns after he returned from injury in the Tigers' previous game.

The 20-year-old missed time after suffering a leg injury versus Ole Miss on September 19, when a tackler's helmet struck his right knee. Although his ligaments were sprained rather than torn, he has continued wearing a brace around the knee.

Green made his comeback in LSU's October 24 game against the Auburn Tigers, finishing with five receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown in the 38-17 road win. He also spoke to reporters on Tuesday, indicating that he was continuing to make physical progress.

Through four games this season, Green has accumulated 19 catches for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He has developed into a go-to option for quarterback Sam Leavitt, who has described the tight end as his “safety blanket.”

Green is the only Tigers player listed as questionable for the upcoming contest. Linebacker Whit Weeks remains doubtful, while his younger brother, Zach Weeks, was removed from Friday's report after previously carrying a questionable designation. Safety Dashawn Spears, wide receiver Phillip Wright and linebacker Charles Ross remain out with season-ending injuries. Freshman defensive tackle Richard Anderson is also unavailable after missing the Auburn game.

The Crimson Tide, meanwhile, received encouraging updates on their injury situation. Wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and starting center Racin Delgatty were upgraded to probable, alongside defensive lineman Terrance Green. Offensive lineman William Sanders, running back EJ Crowell and defensive back Zabien Brown remain questionable.
