The Patriots are set to get one of their top wideouts back at practice on Wednesday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Mack Hollins is expected to be back on the field. Hollins has missed the last four games while on injured reserve with a calf injury and a Wednesday return to practice would open a 21-day window for him to practice before he must be activated or shut down for the season.
Hollins can be activated at any point in that window, so he could play as soon as this Sunday against the Packers.
Hollins had 15 catches for 209 yards in New England’s first four games this season.
The Patriots also have Romeo Doubs on injured reserve and A.J. Brown missed Week 8 with a knee injury.
