On the ESPN show College GameDay Saturday, college football commentator Pat McAfee had some fun with his colleagues while calling out another commentator. McAfee made a dig at Dan Orlovsky, after Orlovsky went on a humorous tirade recently about the term “percent” on Pat's show.

“(Miami FL quarterback Darian) Mensah's completing I think 80 percent of his passes,” McAfee said on College GameDay Saturday to his colleagues. “Do you know what that means, 80 percent?”

“It means 80 out of every 100 passes, he has completed,” Rece Davis replied.

“That's a good Dan Orlovsky stat right there,” McAfee said.

That's a @danorlovsky7 stat right there 😂😂#CollegeGameDay https://t.co/EcyqwnzZjW pic.twitter.com/q85LuOeg0k

This exchange with McAfee and his colleagues came after Orlovsky recently made an appearance on McAfee's show. Orlovsky admitted to McAfee and others that he was confused about what the term percent meant, and how it was used to explain stats.

Orvlovsky had to have the term explained to him.

“I said, ‘Is that really what it is? It's always out of 100?'” Orlovsky recalled. “I didn't know it was always out of 100. I did not know percent.”

McAfee was shocked that Orlovsky didn't know more about those statistical numbers, and how they worked in sports.

“50 percent of the time he gets it right,” McAfee said about Orlovsky on his show jokingly.

After that interaction, fans responded on social media to Orlovsky's admission. They weren't too kind to the former NFL quarterback, who now works as an analyst.

McAfee is known for having fun on Saturdays on ESPN, and joking around. McAfee's colleagues on the ESPN show Saturday laughed at his dig about Orlovsky.

“That can't be real,” Kirk Herbstreit said on College GameDay after McAfee's dig.

Orlovsky is not a member of the College GameDay panel.
