The NFL was already reviewing the case of Packers running back Josh Jacobs following a no-contest plea to misdemeanor battery arising from an incident that happened in May 2026. The league is now investigating additional allegations that have recently come to light.

“We will review these allegations as part of the investigation which has remained open,” the NFL said Saturday in a statement.

Police records released on Friday revealed that three other women made allegations of violence against Jacobs, after the first incident came to light. The league likely will need to identify the individuals and then attempt to persuade them to cooperate.

It significantly raises the potential discipline that may eventually be imposed on Jacobs. He’ll get credit for the six games he missed on paid leave, with a requirement to forfeit the salary he received.

With the Personal Conduct Policy creating a baseline suspension of six games without pay for each incident of domestic violence, along with enhanced penalties for repeat offenses, Jacobs could be facing a lengthy suspension.

More immediately, the question remains whether the Packers will move on from Jacobs. The team had no comment on Saturday morning, in response to the news that three other women have made allegations against Jacobs.

Through it all, the video of the May 2026 incident remains hidden from public view. The NFL wants to see it before finalizing his punishment for the incident that sparked a no-contest plea.
