The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to receive a significant boost to their receiving corps as they attempt to snap a four-game losing streak against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Las Vegas is expected to activate wide receiver Jack Bech from injured reserve ahead of its Week 8 road matchup, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday via X, formerly known as Twitter.
“The #Raiders are expected to activate WR Jack Bech from Injured Reserve to play on Sunday against the #Jets, source says. He’s been recovering from a fractured forearm.”
Bech has been sidelined since suffering a broken forearm during the Raiders' Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints. Las Vegas placed him on injured reserve Sept. 29 before designating him to return Monday, opening his 21-day practice window.
The 2025 second-round pick participated fully in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the final injury report.
Jack Bech returns to Raiders after promising start
Bech recorded five receptions for 48 yards and one touchdown before suffering the injury. He caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in Las Vegas' 27-13 Week 1 victory over the Miami Dolphins before adding two receptions for 25 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers the following week.
His return gives the Raiders another receiving option as they attempt to turn around a season that has quickly lost momentum.

Bech's expected activation should provide additional depth alongside the Raiders' other receiving options as Las Vegas searches for its first victory in more than a month.
The Raiders and Jets will kick off Sunday at 10 a.m. PT on FOX.
