During the Lilly halftime report on ESPN, sports media personality Pat McAfee was effusive in his praise, highlighting the Ole Miss signal-caller's complete mastery over the LSU Tigers defense.

“Trinidad Chambliss is hooping, I mean he's extending plays, he's throwing absolute dots, and then Lacy is also getting loose,” McAfee said. “What you see out of Trinidad Chambliss tonight is a cerebral elite quarterback.”
