The Panthers are getting a couple of players back on the practice field this week.

Head coach Dave Canales told reporters in his Monday press conference that offensive tackle Taylor Moton and defensive lineman Turk Wharton will have their 21-day practice windows opened this week.

Moton is on the non-football illness list due to blood clots while Wharton is on the physically unable to perform list due to a back injury.

The Panthers are thin on the offensive line, particularly as rookie offensive tackle Monroe Freeling deals with a knee injury.

Additionally, Canales said linebacker Jaelan Phillips has a chance to play against the Eagles on Sunday as he deals with a hamstring injury.
