Over the summer, the Florida Panthers acquired Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators. Panthers fans immediately started thinking about where Tkachuk could fit in the lineup, with many fans hoping to see Brady pair with his brother Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett.

While it would be one of the most chaotic lines in the NHL, Panthers coach Paul Maurice is shutting down the hopes of fans, according to David Dwork of The Hockey News.

“I don't want to give everybody what they want with the two Tkachuk brothers together with Sam Bennett. They’ll be in jail before the puck drops,” Maurice said.

Maurice could easily throw a line of his three most physical forwards, as well as the most aggravating to opponents. Instead, it is expected that Brady Tkachuk will be on a line with Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart. Still, fans should be able to see the Tkachuk brothers on the ice together this year. Brady Tkachuk is expected to play in front of the net on the power play unit, while joined with Reinhart, Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk, and Seth Jones.

Brady Tkachuk has been great on the power play in his career and would be a huge addition to a Panthers' unit that has struggled to find a top-level player to post in front of the net on that unit. In his career, he has 62 power play goals while adding 77 helpers when on the man advantage.

Brady Tkachuk may also be getting some extra inspiration on opening night, as the Florida Panthers visit the Carolina Hurricanes on opening night, as the Canes raise their Stanley Cup banner.
