The Green Bay Packers' passing attack has been one of the best-performing units in fantasy football this season. The upgraded passing attack, spearheaded by quarterback Jordan Love, has been doing wonders this season. Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft, and Christian Watson have all been pretty good in fantasy this season, and they've all enjoyed a relatively healthy season so far.

Unfortunately, one of the Packers' key players suffered an injury in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. Golden was checked out in the middle of the game for a foot injury. That's on top of a shoulder issue that Golden was dealing with before this game. Golden did not practice on Monday and Tuesday, raising concerns that the star might not be able to play in a short week.

However, there's some good news coming for the Packers and for fantasy football owners in Week 8. Golden was a limited participant in Green Bay's Wednesday practice session. He also comes into the game with a questionable designation, per Rob Demovsky. This could mean that Golden might be able to suit up against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.

The full report shows Matthew Golden went from estimated DNP to limited, which is a good indicator that he’s trending towards playing. https://t.co/lVvxPIKRYa pic.twitter.com/5lKlaQdQOy

Golden has been the WR12 in fantasy football this season, easily one of the most consistent wide receivers this year. The second-year wideout has 110.6 fantasy points through seven games, and he's dipped below double digits in only two of those weeks. Both single-digit performances barely missed the cut, though: a 9.8 FPTS game in Week 2 and 9.9 in Week 7. Golden has 540 yards and three touchdowns this season.

If Golden ends up missing the game, then the brunt of the passing attack will fall on Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft's shoulders. Both players have been excellent this season, both from a fantasy standpoint and from a football standpoint.
