The Los Angeles Rams swung a huge trade in the offseason after acquiring Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Jared Verse and draft assets. It was viewed as a big win for the Rams.

Unfortunately, Garrett suffered a knee injury in Week 1, instantly derailing Los Angeles' campaign. Amid his continued absence and the Rams' 3-4 record, the front office could hunt for another blockbuster trade to salvage the season.

Coach Sean McVay, however, is not keen on it, as reported by The Athletic's Nate Atkins.

“No, that's not something (we want). Based on our situation, what you look at is hopefully some of those trades will be guys getting back from injury that haven't played for us. That's the way that we look at it,” said McVay.

“You always think about it, but with the amount of guys who have not been available, guys who are key and focal points on both sides of the football, we look at those guys hopefully being able to return within a month. That's where that value lies for us. Maybe it'd be a different conversation if we're talking about guys who are on injured reserve and done for the whole season. The good thing is, a lot of the guys who are huge parts that we're missing, we do expect to get back at some point, just not exactly sure when that is.”

The Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers already acquired extra weapons ahead of the trade deadline. The Seahawks and the 49ers got Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, respectively, from the Indianapolis Colts, who received draft assets in return.
