The offensive line is a major concern for the Green Bay Packers so far this season. Jordan Love appears to be running for his life on nearly every pass play, the run game can't get going, and the offense has had multiple drives stalled through three games. However, the front office addressed the issue the best they could by beating out the Pittsburgh Steelers with a free-agent signing.
Reports indicate that the Packers brought former first-round pick Mekhi Becton in for a workout on Monday morning, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Not long after the workout, Green Bay officially signed Becton to the roster.
“Free agent OL Mekhi Becton worked out for the Green Bay Packers this morning, per source. Former No. 11 overall pick is now healthy and gets a look in Green Bay, which needs reinforcements along the line.”
“Update: Becton is signing with the Packers, per source,” Fowler said on X.
