Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season was chocked full of upsets and surprising results, as there were not many blowouts in this slate of games. With Thursday Night Football starting off with a major upset of the Green Bay Packers, the Week 4 NFL Power Rankings has quite a lot of movement.

1. Buffalo Bills (no change)
In a game littered with turnovers, the Buffalo Bills overcame their five turnovers to earn another win at their new stadium. Josh Allen, who threw two interceptions and lost a fumble, figured it out just enough in the second half to lead the offense, as the Buffalo defense kept them in the game all four quarters.
Allen’s performance was far from his MVP-esque showing last week, but the Bills still keep their spot atop the Week 4 NFL Power Rankings.
2. Denver Broncos (+2)
A 30-26 win on Sunday Night Football was exactly what the Denver Broncos needed early on in the season, as a win over the Super Bowl favorites will provide a nice, early-season boost. Bo Nix didn't have the strongest game, but he did account for three touchdowns (two passing), while the Denver defense proved to be the difference maker, picking off Matthew Stafford twice, a pick-six and a game-sealing INT on their last play of the game. The Broncos move up two spots in the Week 4 NFL Power Rankings.

3. San Francisco 49ers (+2)
A 36-30 win for San Francisco was made possible by a four-touchdown performance from Brock Purdy, who connected with Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle (x2) for scores. On the flip side, the 49ers defense let the offense down, as they allowed the Arizona Cardinals to march their way back into their Week 3 matchup. This win moves SF to 3-0 on the year and bumps them up two spots in the Week 4 NFL Power Rankings.
4. Los Angeles Rams (-1)
Early-season struggles continue for the Los Angeles Rams, as they dropped their SNF matchup with the Broncos to fall to 1-2. Missing Puka Nacua once again made the passing game a bit tougher to navigate, and a heavy reliance on the throwing game (55 passing attempts for Stafford) turned the once-balanced offense into a one-dimensional unit. After blowing a 16-point halftime lead, Sean McVay and the Rams need to head back to the drawing board to tighten up a few things, as a Week 4 matchup on the road against the Eagles doesn't get any easier.
5. Seattle Seahawks (-3)
With Sam Darnold making his first start since his Week 1 injury, the Seattle Seahawks were upset in their Week 3 road matchup against the Washington Commanders. A late pick-six thrown by Darnold put the Seahawks even more behind the eight ball, and the WAS offense was able to run out the clock to earn the upset win.
6. Chicago Bears (Monday Night Football)
With both Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent out with injuries, the Chicago Bears will be forced to turn to long-time veteran Case Keenum to run their offense in their Monday Night Football matchup. Their home matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles carries early-season significance, as both teams are looking to factor into the NFC playoff race.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (no change)
It was a pretty one-sided win for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3, as their 35-6 win over the New England Patriots was never really in doubt. Trevor Lawrence picked the NE defense apart for three touchdowns, as Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and rookie Josh Cameron all hauled in scores.
8. Baltimore Ravens (+1)
WHAT. A. GAME.
A game-winning field goal from Tyler Loop ended quite the international matchup for the Baltimore Ravens, capping off an international trip that saw plenty of fireworks. Lamar Jackson threw for two touchdowns, Derrick Henry ran for two additional scores, and Zay Flowers crossed the 80-yard mark in his return, but the hero of the game was Loop, who split the uprights after a Jackson pass got Baltimore into field-goal range with a second left.

9. Detroit Lions (+2)
It wasn’t easy, but the Detroit Lions pulled out their Week 3 home matchup against the New York Jets, 31-24. Jared Goff threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns, Jahmyr Gibbs turned 27 touches into 164 total yards and three touchdowns, and Amon-Ra St. Brown made up for a 19-yard day with a short receiving touchdown.
10. Philadelphia Eagles (Monday Night Football)
The Philadelphia offense will be near full strength for their MNF matchup with Chicago, as injuries suffered by Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith aren’t showing up on the game-day designations. The Eagles will need as much help as they can get on offense, as their road matchup stands in their way of going to 3-0 on the season.
11. Kansas City Chiefs (+3)
A two-touchdown showing from Kenneth Walker III continues his strong play, as the Kansas City Chiefs earned a road win down in Miami and now sit at 3-0. Patrick Mahomes connected with Walker and Travis Kelce for touchdowns, while the KC defense forced an interception and recovered a fumble in the win.
12. Minnesota Vikings (+4)
Kyler Murray had a quiet full-game debut for the Minnesota Vikings, but he was able to do enough on offense to help earn their third win in three weeks. Murray connected with Jordan Addison on a 41-yard TD, and this connection turned into five receptions and 90 yards, with Justin Jefferson leaving Week 3 early with a high ankle sprain.
13. Cincinnati Bengals (-1)
A late Joe Burrow fumble stopped the comeback efforts for the Cincinnati Bengals, as they dropped a 30-27 divisional matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Burrow threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns, but a rough day for the run game (61 rushing yards from Chase Brown) made things difficult for the offense.
14. New England Patriots (-6)
A problematic 1-2 start to the 2026 NFL season drops the Patriots pretty far down the Week 4 NFL Power Rankings after their blowout loss to the Jaguars. Drake Maye and the NE offense look completely lost, as another turnover-filled performance from Maye (two INTs, one lost fumble) makes it six on the year for the QB, while only having thrown for one touchdown in three games.
15. New Orleans Saints (no change)
Two lost fumbles from Tyler Shough and a lack of a run game made things a bit difficult for the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, as their 35-27 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders knocked them down to 1-2. Shough still threw for four touchdowns in the win, so it was another strong showing for the NO QB, but four consecutive drives ending in turnovers in the fourth quarter turned a potential win into a heartbreaking loss at home.
16. Las Vegas Raiders (+9)
Don’t look now, but the Las Vegas Raiders find themselves sitting atop the AFC West division at 3-0. A strong win on the road over the Saints was in large part to Brock Bowers making his 2026 season debut, elevating the LV offense.
Bowers caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, easily filling the role of Kirk Cousins’ favorite target. A Week 4 matchup with the Chiefs will be a real test to see what kind of team the Raiders are, but for now, they are a surprise undefeated team in the AFC.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers (+5)
Week 3 was a much-needed step forward for the Pittsburgh offense, as Aaron Rodgers and Jaylen Warren both enjoyed solid games. Rodgers threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Roman Wilson, DK Metcalf, and Ben Skowronek for scores, while Warren went for 176 total yards on 20 touches.
18. Dallas Cowboys (no change)
Poor clock management once again doomed Brian Schottenheimer and the Dallas Cowboys, as they left too much time on the clock after their game-tying field goal in the fourth quarter. Their inability to get into the end zone also kept Dallas from earning their second win of the year, a win that could absolutely loom large in what is shaping up to be a tight race in the NFC East.
19. Green Bay Packers (-6)
The alarm bells are in full ring for the Green Bay Packers, as they came out extremely flat in their 2026 home opener. Jordan Love has been forced to fight for his life on every snap, as the maligned offensive line allowed what felt like a pressure on every single drop back.
Matt LaFleur should be on the hot seat for how this team has looked so far this season, as this looks like a completely different team than the one that made the playoffs last year.
20. Indianapolis Colts (+4)
Tyler Warren, Keenan Allen, and Josh Downs all caught five-plus passes in the Week 3 win for the Indianapolis Colts, helping orchestrate a strong home win for their first of the season. Warren caught nine passes for 55 yards, Allen caught Daniel Jones’ lone passing touchdown, and Downs led all IND pass catchers with 11 targets, corralling five.
21. New York Giants (no change)
The New York Giants won their Week 3 slop-fest with the Tennessee Titans, as wind and rain impacted the offenses. Jameis Winston, making his first start after Jaxson Dart’s season-ending injury, struggled in the win, only throwing for 118 yards, as rookie kicker Dominic Zvada knocked all four field goal attempts through to earn the win.
22. Carolina Panthers (-3)
A week after hanging a 34-point showing in an NFC South divisional matchup, the Carolina Panthers put up a stinker on the road against the Cleveland Browns. The lack of inclusion of Tetairoa McMillan in the passing game (two catches on five targets) spelled disaster for Bryce Young and the passing attack, as the Panthers now sit at 1-2.
23. Washington Commanders (+3)
Marcus Mariota stepped into the starting role once again for Jayden Daniels and did his best Superman impression, leading an upset at home over the defending Super Bowl champions. Mariota threw for three touchdowns in the win, connecting with Rachaad White, Terry McLaurin, and Treylon Burks for scores, while backup linebacker Kain Medrano picked off Darnold and took it back to the end zone.

24. Houston Texans (-7)
Nico Collins still missing from the Houston lineup was noticeable yet again, as the Texans’ offense struggled in their Week 3 loss to the Colts. Xavier Hutchinson was the leading receiver for HOU, only going for 51 yards, as C.J. Stroud struggled in the loss.
25. Los Angeles Chargers (-5)
Things went from bad to worse for the Chargers in Week 3, as their offense once again sputtered, contributing to their continued winless start. Now sitting at 0-3, Justin Herbert and the passing attack are on very different pages, as costly drops from his pass catchers and an inability to get Omarion Hampton going has created a very steep hill to overcome for LAC.
26. New York Jets (+1)
The NYJ offense took two major hits at the end of their Week 3 loss to the Lions, as both Breece Hall (quad) and Garrett Wilson (concussion) were forced out late. The injury severity for Hall is still unknown, as his leg injury has a myriad of potential outcomes; thankfully, head coach Aaron Glenn cleared up Wilson’s status, as the star wideout was cleared of a concussion.
27. Cleveland Browns (+4)
Somehow, someway, the Browns managed to find a way to win their Week 3 matchup with the Panthers, even though the offense didn’t do a whole lot. Two receiving touchdowns from tight end Harold Fannin Jr. led the way, while two field goals from Andre Szmyt provided the rest of the points.
28. Atlanta Falcons (+1)
Atlanta kicked off Week 3 with a massive road win, as the Falcons marched into Lambeau Field and ran all over the Packers defense. It was the Bijan Robinson show, as the star RB stepped into the spotlight to help take pressure off of Michael Penix Jr., who was making his first start since tearing his ACL last season.
Robinson ran for 194 yards and two touchdowns, leading the ATL offense in the 35-14 Thursday night win.
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6)
The Buccaneers are still searching for their first win of the 2026 NFL season, and they may need to do so without Baker Mayfield next week. Mayfield, in trying to lead a late-game comeback against the Vikings, injured his throwing hand and is awaiting further results to see the severity of his injury.
30. Arizona Cardinals (no change)
Week 3 was the coming-out party for rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, as he finally took over the AZ backfield in the loss. Even while playing from behind, Love turned 26 touches (21 carries) into 109 total yards and a receiving touchdown.
Michael Wilson led all AZ pass catchers, corralling 11 passes (on 17 targets) for 89 yards and a touchdown, rekindling his WR1 performance he showed down the stretch last season.
31. Tennessee Titans (-3)
The Titans’ offense is still very much a work in progress, as its Week 3 performance is a microcosm of that. Cam Ward threw for 181 yards and a score, Wan’Dale Robinson finally showed why he deserved that offseason deal, but the inability to move the ball and put points on the board continues to keep Tennessee winless.
32. Miami Dolphins (no change)
A 24-10 loss to the Chiefs was overshadowed by a torn ACL suffered by star running back De'Von Achane, ending his 2026 season after only two-plus games. There isn't much going right for Miami, as they will continue to sit at the bottom of the AFC standings after the 2026 campaign was already going to be an uphill climb.
