The New York Yankees have announced that Saturday’s Yankees-Orioles game (Saturday, September 26) will not be played due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.
The game will be made up tomorrow, Friday, September 25 as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin at 4:05 p.m. The second game will start no earlier than 7:05 p.m. If the first game ends later than 6:35 p.m., Game 2 would start approximately 30 minutes after the end of Game 1.
Tickets for Saturday’s game (Saturday, September 26) will not be valid for the Friday, September 25, single-admission doubleheader.
On September 25, all Yankee Stadium gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 2:30 p.m., at which time distribution will begin for the September 25 scheduled promotional item (Josh Hart Yankees Bobblehead presented by Delta Air Lines for the 1st 18,000 Guests in attendance).
Fans are encouraged to arrive by 3:00 p.m. for the CC Sabathia number retirement ceremony and Monument Park plaque unveiling.
Fans with paid tickets for Saturday’s game (Saturday, September 26) may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck. Tickets can be exchanged online only and cannot be exchanged in-person at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office.
Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained via the Commissioner’s Initiative for Kids for Saturday’s game (Saturday, September 26) are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
