Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers remains limited in practice as he works toward making his 2026 season debut against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. Bowers was again a limited participant on Thursday, continuing a stretch of three consecutive limited practices dating back to last Friday.
Bowers has been out since suffering a left knee injury during training camp. He underwent a meniscus trim procedure on Sept. 8, with the same knee having previously caused him to miss five games during the 2025 season because of a PCL sprain and bone bruise.
The Raiders came close to having Bowers available for last Sunday's matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Their training staff put him through a pregame workout and appeared to give him an opportunity to play, but he ultimately remained inactive. Head coach Klint Kubiak indicated that Bowers had not practiced enough after missing Wednesday and Thursday entirely the previous week.
His practice participation has since increased. Bowers was officially limited Wednesday and remained in that category Thursday. Friday's practice is expected to help determine whether he receives an injury designation heading into Sunday.
If Bowers is cleared to play, his workload could still be controlled as he rebuilds his conditioning following the knee procedure.
Las Vegas enters Week 3 with a 2-0 record, averaging 26.5 points per game, which ranks 10th in the NFL. The Raiders have produced those results through different approaches, relying heavily on the ground game in one contest and generating explosive plays through the air in the other.
