Oregon Ducks wide receiver Evan Stewart was reportedly booked into the Springfield Municipal Jail on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII) early Sunday. According to a post on X by Hallie DeVore, Stewart was booked at approximately 7 AM ET and released around an hour later to a third party, fellow Oregon WR Dakorien Moore.
However, that only seems to be the tip of the iceberg. Posts on X and Reddit alleged that Ducks players may have been involved in street racing and additional DUI-related incidents over the weekend.
The University of Oregon had not publicly responded to KATU’s request for comment at the time of its report. The arrest reportedly followed Oregon’s 17-14 comeback victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday night at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. The win moved the Ducks to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play, while Nebraska fell to 5-2.

Regardless, social media posts alleged that multiple Oregon players had been arrested for street racing or DUI-related offenses, with one post on X referencing alleged Ring camera footage of a pursuit and related to a vehicle reportedly associated with another Oregon receiver.
Stewart has been one of Oregon’s leading receiving threats this season. Through five games, he recorded 27 receptions for 352 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Ducks in all three categories. He had caught a touchdown in four consecutive games, including Oregon’s 17-15 loss to UCLA on Oct. 10, when he finished with five catches for 74 yards and a 44-yard touchdown.
